Industrial Experience: 
Business Envelope Analytical Leader:    Provide analytical leadership across two major global businesses to ensure cost-competitive analytical services. Define and implement global analytical manufacturing strategy for business.   Ensure effective implementation of the analytical work process, identify most effective technology, promote standardization, and maximize and communicate the value of analytical services. Leverage analytical global experts to provide solutions and improvements for process effectiveness and product quality.
Previous roles include:
  • Leader of Client Interface Department, with responsibility for direct reports in six countries.  Establish department strategy to ensure analytical strategies, systems, and communications are in place to support all businesses.  Develop improvement plan and drive changes globally.  
  • Technical Leader, Process Analytical Team.   Plan and coordinate process analytical for manufacturing and R&D for Europe, project coaching for ~20 team members.   Apply technical expertise in on-line spectroscopy and other analytical techniques to manufacturing challenges for process control, quality assurance, and improved process safety.  
  • Global Business Analytical Partner to Polyethylene and Specialty Elastomers Business. Identify current and future on-line analytical needs of the business and a strategy for meeting them.  This involves working across the business to translate business goals into specific analyzer needs, including the need for development of new analyzer technology.  Plan and coordinate process analytical for the business across disciplines and sites to improve cost, efficiency or quality and provide the deliverables required by the business.  Technical expertise in on-line spectroscopy as well as projects in on-line rheology and chromatography.
  • Sr. Analytical Specialist: Develop and implement on-line analyzers for process monitoring. Implement and improve process FTNIR technology for process control.   Monitor process changes and keep analyzer methods current with new process developments.  Lead FTNIR team to develop and maintain global standards for installations.
  • Inclusion & Diversity at Dow:  member, Benelux Women’s Innovation Network Implementation Team since 2011; Terneuzen International Club leadership team, 2007-2015.
Currently based in Terneuzen, Netherlands; previously Freeport, Texas; Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and Bahia Blanca, Argentina.
